The Elamites were among the great civilizations of the Ancient Near East, flourishing alongside Mesopotamia, Assyria, and Babylon. Cast Bronze Construction

This sword was created using bronze, an alloy primarily composed of copper and tin. Ancient craftsmen produced weapons like this through the lost-wax or stone-mold casting process, allowing the blade and hilt to be cast as a single piece. Following casting, the weapon would have been hammered, sharpened, and polished to improve durability and performance. The integral hilt design provided additional strength and reduced the risk of breakage during combat.

Over centuries of burial, the bronze developed the beautiful green patina visible today, a natural surface layer highly prized by collectors and indicative of considerable age.
